Aram + Aram = Kinnaram

Aram Aram Kinnaram is a Malayalam slapstick comedy film released in 1985. Directed by Priyadarshan, with Mohanlal, Shankar, Sreenivasan, Lizy and Puja Saxena in leading roles, this film was a huge hit at the box office. The movie borrows plot elements from Basu Chatterjees 1983 comedy Pasand Apni Apniwhich itself was based on 1951 British movie Happy Go Lovely Narayanan Kuttys story and Hrishikesh Mukherjees 1981 comedy Naram GaramBalans story. The famous Hotel comedy sequence of this movie was later reused by Priyadarshan in the 2005 Hindi movie Garam Masala which incidentally was a remake of another Malayalam movie Boeing Boeing.
